Unfortunately, this seems to happen all the time. For some reason this time, someone gets their hands slapped for it.  I would be totally devastated to find I had been falsely accused of  a of crime. There are some accusations that carry with it a stigma which can harm an innocent person for the rest of their lives.  This could be someone who had to defend themselves in court.
